We are thrilled to welcome back Coach Sean Binning! This is Sean's third year coaching for the Wahoos. He began diving for Wakefield Chapel in 2014 at the age of 11. After graduating, he dove for Rider University in 2022, becoming a two-time NCAA Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) champion on the one-meter springboard (2022 & 2023) and he received 2022 MAAC Diver of the Year and MAAC Rookie of the Year. Sean transferred to Virginia Tech where he currently majors in Clinical Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry and Pre-Medicine, and is on the dive team. He plans to attend medical school in the near future. Sean is extremely excited to return to the boards and create long-lasting memories with the team!

Nathaniel Grannis is pleased to return for a third year as coach for the dive team--but even more excited for his 14th year and senior season as a Wahoo! Nathaniel is the two-time Virginia Class 6A State champion for dive (2024, 2025), the current junior national champion in men's 10m synchro, and a member of the USA Diving High Performance Squad. In 2024, he qualified for the US Olympic Team Diving Trials, placing 6th in the men's synchronized 3m competition. For the last two years, Nathaniel is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and has led the "Learn to Dive" program at Fairfax County's Audrey Moore RECenter for the past two years, where he teaches children and adults diving from the beginner to advanced levels. He also offers private 1:1 lessons to divers in the NVSL. Later this summer, he will start his freshman year at Purdue University, where he will dive and study kinesiology.
