Winter Wahoos
We are excited to be able to offer Wahoo Winter Swim again during the off-season! Winter Wahoos will start on September 21, 2025, and conclude on May 17, 2026. Practice will take place on Sundays, 4:00-5:00pm, at Audrey Moore Rec Center. We will not have practice on 11/30/25, 12/28/25, 01/04/26, 1/18/26, and 4/05/26.
Registration will open on Tuesday, August 5th at 9:00am and will be available on the Team Website. We will offer a total of 24 spots, and spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis once registration opens. Historically spots are filled VERY soon after 9am! If you would like your child to participate in Winter Wahoos, you should be sure to sign into the website prior to 9:00am, and be ready to register once it opens at 9:00 sharp!
Once registration is filled, you will be prompted to register for the waitlist. Please sign up for the waitlist, as we may be able to add a few additional swimmers after the initial registration, and will contact you if space becomes available.
Winter Wahoos will practice 30 times in the off-season, at a cost of $425/swimmer. This fee covers the cost of the lane rental and coaches’ salaries. It’s a great deal, at approximately $14 per practice!

What is Wahoo Winter Swim?
This is a teen-led developmental swim program run by some of our Wahoos Coaches! All swimmers will continue to develop swimming skills & conditioning while having a great off-season time with their Wahoo friends!
Who is eligible for Wahoo Winter Swim?
Wahoo summer swimmers who will be aged 5-12 in Summer 2026 – all swimmers must be able to swim unassisted across the pool AND must have received a legal time in at least one Wahoos "A" or "B" meet in Summer 2025.
How do I register?
- Registration opens on Tuesday, August 5th at 9:00am on the Team Website.
- You will need to LOG IN to the SwimTopia site using your email address and password. DO NOT create a new account! Be sure to login prior to 9:00am so you are ready to register when it opens!
- On the Home Page, once registration is open, the REGISTER NOW button will appear at the top right side of the HOME page.
- Click on REGISTER NOW, and as long as you are logged in, the registration form will be pre-populated with your family/swimmer information.
- If you have swimmers listed who will NOT be participating in Winter Wahoos, simply click the "remove from this registration" box to remove them. This will NOT remove them or their data from SwimTopia!
