Volunteer Requirements Acknowledgement

I understand that Wakefield Chapel Swim Team is a volunteer organization.  Parents are required to volunteer even if their child is not yet ready to participate in meets. I agree to volunteer according to the following schedule:

  • Families with 1 swimmer (age 6-18) - 10 hours (5 at meets)
  • Families with 2+ swimmers (age 6-18) - 20 hours (8 at meets)
  • Families with 1 swimmer (age 6-18) AND 1+ minnows - 15 hours (5 at meets)
  • Families with ONLY minnows - 5 hours

I understand there will be additional volunteer requirements if my child qualifies to participate in Division Relays, All-Star Relays, Divisionals, or Individual All Stars.

I understand that I must sign up as a volunteer in SwimTopia before the meet/event and check in with the Team Reps or Event Coordinator during the event for my hours to be verified.

Families who do not complete their required volunteer hours will be charged an additional $250 at the end of the swim season.  Please communicate directly with the Team Representatives if you have extenuating circumstances and we will work with you to identify ways to complete your hours.

Click "Yes, I agree" and type your initials below to acknowledge that you have read and understand the volunteer requirements and to acknowledge the $250 fee for non-compliance.
